Trivore Oy has won the tender for the identity and access management solution of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom with its eIAM product, which can be adapted to the most demanding needs.
The Transport and Communications Agency Traficom adopts Trivore’s flexible and highly integrated identity and access management solution eIAM. Traficom has been using several different identity, credential management, and access control systems, which it will now be able to integrate into a centralised on-premise solution with Trivore. The new solution will enable Traficom to simplify its rights management model, modernise its operations, and replace outdated systems with a new management system.
According to Veli-Pekka Vähälummukka, Managing Director of Trivore, participation in the Traficom tender seemed clear from the start:
“Traficom is one of the most demanding customers on the market, but we knew our solution would be an excellent match for their needs. After all, we had already realised at the product design stage that eIAM needed to be suitable for this type of environment.”
“Traficom was looking for a vendor with a solution that supports complex processes and has the capability to implement the most challenging identity and access management solutions. They needed a product whose capabilities were not limited to specific features. We don’t have this limitation because we own the product and can therefore adapt it to meet the most demanding needs,” says Vähälummukka.
The contract is for an indefinite period and the estimated duration of the deployment project is six months. Traficom estimates the value of the contract at around 6 million euros.
“I am delighted that the excellent adaptability of our eIAM product and the solid expertise of our team were also passed on to Traficom. It is great to be working on such an important and exceptional project”, Vähälummukka sums up.
