Trivore Oy, a fast-growing Finnish provider of identity management software and solutions (IAM and IGA), has appointed Mika Marjalaakso as Chairman of the Board. Marjalaakso will, at the same time, invest EUR 130 000 in Trivore through his investment company Oak Ventures.
Marjalaakso is a well-known angel investor, whose other investments include fast-growing technology companies AlphaSense, CardioSignal, and Safegrid. Marjalaakso’s experience as a founder of 13 start-ups and early stage investor in more than 10 start-ups is rare in Finland. With this experience, he brings valuable new expertise and insight to Trivore in planning and managing its growth.
Marjalaakso also has previous experience in information security and identity management. He held business development positions in IPSEC encryption solutions for OEM customers at SSH Communications Security Oyj, and was the first CEO and co-founder of Integratum Oy, an access and identity management consultancy acquired by Nixu Oyj.

Trivore manages more than five million consumer identities and its customers include both large corporations and major public entities such as Fujitsu, HSL (Helsinki Region Transport), and Caverion Oyj.

According to international research firm Gartner, companies are investing at an accelerating pace in comprehensive identity management platforms such as Trivore IAM. Gartner predicts the market for these solutions in the Nordic and neighbouring regions will grow by around 20% per year and exceed €750 million by 2027.
Trivore’s goal is to further strengthen its position as a major provider of identity management solutions, develop new products, and offer the best possible solutions to its growing customer base.
