TURKU 5.1.2026 – The Tampere City Region has chosen Fujitsu Finland Oy as its partner to provide a comprehensive ICT service package for the region. Trivore is part of the overall solution led by Fujitsu and will provide the identity and access management (IAM) part of the project.
The agreement between Fujitsu and Tampere City Region covers the development of the region’s ICT infrastructure, information security, cloud services and identity management. The seven-year framework contract is worth up to €250 million. Trivore will deliver a SaaS-based eIAM identity management solution as part of the service package. The solution will enable the Tampere City Region to ensure that identity services for the city region’s employees, early childhood education and education are secure, scalable and flexible.
Efficiency and significant savings through automation
Fujitsu’s services and Trivore’s eIAM solution as part of them will bring significant efficiency gains to the Tampere city region. Trivore eIAM automates complex identity and access management processes.
A modern IAM solution enables the replacement of outdated and fragmented systems with a single centralised platform, simplifying the management model and significantly reducing maintenance costs. The modernisation of processes and the minimisation of manual work will ensure that resources can be focused on developing services for citizens rather than on heavy administrative tasks.
Seamless cooperation and Finnish expertise
The long-term partnership between Trivore and Fujitsu creates a solid foundation that combines Finnish excellence with the extensive resources of a global player. Trivore will act as Fujitsu’s expert technology partner in the project, bringing with it a deep understanding of the demanding security standards in the public sector.
“A diverse environment such as the Tampere city region requires exceptional adaptability in identity management,” says Mika Aromaa, CEO of Trivore. “We are proud to deliver a solution that not only ensures security and scalability of services, but also improves the operational performance of the entire organisation. Domesticity and data retention in Finland are strategic choices for us, ensuring full digital sovereignty and peace of mind for our customers.”
